Frontera Travel designs authentic ecotourism experiences in regions where the community plays an active part in the tourism value chain. Our principles are based on fair commerce, co-creation of sustainable policies and the design of high-quality experiences in emerging destinations.
We offer trips to unique, natural and unexplored destinations in Colombia.
We believe responsible tourism supports the well being of local communities, contributes to the preservation of natural resources and ensures authentic and unforgettable experiences.
Luxury doesn't have to be tied to the infrastructure offer we get in isolated places. We believe that exceptional service and thoughtfully designed experiences can become a luxury for the soul.
What matters the most to me is finding nature places that feed my soul and allow me to share and meet new people. I consider myself a traveler that look for "Luxury for the Soul".
I'm passionate about the culture of the different regions in Colombia, their dances, customs and gastronomy. I also like to discover the hidden places and wonderful villages where you can find hospitality, peace and tranquility.
I absolutely love flowers, bugs, waterfalls and all those places where nature and tranquility reign, but I also like to get lost in the noise of cities and their own life. I love discovering new things; places, people, flavors and perspectives. I love to travel, but what I love the most is to experience my evolution when facing the new and unknown.
When traveling I love hearing stories, seeing art, tasting local cuisines and taking long walks to discover hidden treasures. I love antique shops, public markets and road trips. I am inspired to learn from others, experience different cultures and find what connects us.
We get asked a lot if the photos on this page are original. The most spectacular photos have been taken by Beco, a Mexican photographer, a great traveler, with a unique talent. Other photos are from our trips, taken by our in-house team of guides.
I am a traveler by nature. I believe the best way to get to know a place is by submerging into its culture, learning its customs and meeting its people. Regardless on whether it's a natural destination or a bustling city, I know the best experiences are those recommended by locals. That's why I want to show more travelers the magic Colombia has to offer.
I have been working over 17 years in the nature tourism industry. I have guided tours with activities like kayaking, rafting and canopying. However, my true passion is birdwatching and identifying all the different species the regions in Colombia have to offer.
