This tour constitutes a unique experience to contemplate the mountains that adorn the Aburra Valley, identify the most representative places in the city, discover the transformation of its architecture and delight in an unforgettable panorama of Medellín from the air.
After being picked up from the hotel, you are taken to the Hangars of the Olaya Herrera Airport. Where you have a security talk. Once this talk is done, the Helicopter experience begins taking a north direction and following the course of the Medellín river while contemplating the spectacular aerial view of Cerro Nutibara, on whose top is the replica of a "Pueblito Paisa". From the air you can see the main attractions of the city.
Once the flight is done, you will be taken back to the hotel.
*Hours: Every day between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. however we recommend making the flight between 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. 3:30 p.m.

Recommendations

  • Avoid on the tour going with caps, hats, scarves, backpacks or items that are loose, as these items may collide with the rotor when boarding the aircraft.
  • Follow the safety instructions that will be issued at the time of the trip.
  • The location of the passengers in the ship is made according to its weight and balance.
  • There is a moment for the photos, this will be informed by our ground staff.
  • Since there are only 1 or a maximum of 2 helicopters for the operation, a group of 20 people takes us approximately between 45 minutes and 1:30 so that everyone can have the experience of flying, time in which they must wait in the hangar.
  • The flight may be rescheduled or canceled if the following events occur: Bad weather (closure of airport operations), Emergency humanitarian assistance, Technical problems of the aircraft.
  • Important: It is essential to have the full name of all people with their respective identification number at the time of booking and carry the document they report in order to enter the Hangar, otherwise they will not be able to enter it. In case of forgetting the identity document of any of the people including children of any age who are going to make the flight and for some reason the arrival of people is delayed for the scheduled time of the flight, it carries a NO SHOW.
