The Sierra de la Macarena Natural Park is where we can find the wonderful biodiversity of the Amazon, the Orinoco and the Andes regions
On this tour we will explore its rainforests, rivers and monumental waterfalls that ornament the landscape with amazing vegetation and rock formations from millennia ago.
After a three and a half hour drive we will find the majestic Salto Santo Domingo. A waterfall of more than 80 meters high that makes its way through the rock formations, amidst the moss and the stunning natural scenery.
Near the waterfall, we will also find a hot spring that we can visit, with a comforting temperature that lies like an oasis of nature.
The hike will be led by a guide from the community and all food and services will be local, so we can support families within the tourism value chain.
