Güejar Canyon

Guape Canyon
Located in La Uribe, Meta, this peaceful ride on inflatable tubes lets you explore one of Colombia's most majestic canyons while immersing yourself in the serenity of its surroundings.

Tubing in Cafre Canyon
An authentic adventure where you'll navigate through seven rapids in the emerald-green waters of this stunning river.

RAFTING IN THE GUEJAR CANYON, CAFRE CANYON AND GUAPE CANYON

Itinerary

DAY 1: GÜEJAR CANYON

08:00 AM – 09:30 AM

Reception, breakfast, and visitor registration.

09:30 AM – 10:30 AM

Transfer to the embarkation point “El Limón,” safety briefing, and start of activities.

10:30 AM – 02:00 PM

Activities on the river during a 17-kilometer journey, including:

A stop at Titanic, where we enjoy a regional snack.

Life jacket floating (chalequismo).

Birdwatching and visits to various waterfalls encountered along the route.

Passing through the Valley of the Fairies, where you can marvel at water droplets falling in slow motion.

Concluding with the breathtaking rapids of the canyon, we arrive at the eco-touristic farm La Recebera.

02:00 PM – 03:00 PM

Lunch at La Recebera.

04:00 PM – 05:00 PM

Return to Mesetas, Meta.

05:00 PM – 06:00 PM

Accommodation in either rural or urban areas.

06:00 PM – 07:00 PM

Dinner.

DAY 2: JOURNEY TO THE URIBE – GUAPE CANYON

08:15 AM

Preparation, safety briefing, and warm-up session before descending into the canyon via the Guácharo Trail (30-minute walk).

08:45 AM

Arrival at Guape Canyon, technical briefing, and start of the tubing adventure.

09:30 AM

Stop at Rocosaurio for recreational swimming.

10:30 AM

Passage through the Guácharo Cave.

11:30 AM

Visit to El Santuario del Guape Waterfall for a regional snack prepared by local farmers.

12:30 PM

Arrival at Bocas del Guape.

01:00 PM

Lunch and time for relaxation.

02:00 PM

End of the adventure and return to Mesetas.

DAY 3: CAFRE AND COFFEE EXPERIENCE

08:00 AM – 09:00 AM

Reception, visitor registration, and breakfast.

09:00 AM – 10:00 AM

Transfer to La Encantada Waterfall in a 4x4 vehicle.

10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Hiking, recreational swimming, and a regional snack.

12:00 PM – 02:00 PM

Lunch and return to the office in Mesetas.

02:00 PM – 04:00 PM

Tubing activity.

04:00 PM – 05:00 PM

Return to the office in Mesetas and conclusion of activities.

Hoy en día no solamente es uno de nuestros destinos de naturaleza y aventura más vendidos, sino que también el turismo se ha convertido en un generador de empleo y un vehiculo para la conservación. Nuestros guias son guardianes del territoreo. 

EN la actividad de rafting, todos los guias son certificados en conducción de balsas. Todas las balsas van acompañadas por un kayak con una persona local certificada en Rescate en Kayak. 

En los demás senderos, todas las guias son mujeres locales. 

Este destino hace parte de la zona de amortiguación del PNN La Macarena.
