In this aquatic adventure you will be able to appreciate an unparalleled natural beauty, waterfalls, gigantic millenary rocks, birds and butterflies of all colors that will accompany you through the impressive vegetation that is still preserved native.

You will travel through the great-great-grandfather of the world's forests, in this journey through the canyon of the Güejar River by rafting, in the middle of a natural landscape, the wonderful waterfalls and majestic millenary rock formations in contrast with the fauna of the place make this activity a truly magical experience.

You will also visit Charco Azul, an oasis of turquoise water in the middle of thick tropical vegetation and you will be able to cool off in the high waterfall that forms this fantastic natural pool.

And to end the day, on a path hidden by years of conflict, we will find the Historical Memory Camp where you can learn a little about the past of the territory and the ways in which a new history is being rewritten for the community.

RAFTING IN THE GUEJAR RIVER AND CHARCO AZUL WATERFALL; 2 DAYS

Itinerary

DAY 1 (GÜEJAR CANYON)

  • Breakfast and visitor registration (08:00am - 09:30 am).
  • Transfer to "el limón" embarkation point; technical talk, start of activities (09:30am- 10:30 am).
  • Activities in the Güejar River in a 17 kilometers trip where we will navigate through its rapids. We will make a stop at the Titanic where we will have our first snack with local products. We will do activities such as kayaking and bird watching. We will visit different waterfalls that we find on the route, we will pass through the valley of the fairies where we will observe the water drops falling in slow motion. We will arrive at the ecotourism farm La Recebera (02:00 pm).
  • Lunch (02:00 pm - 03:00 pm).
  • Return to the plateau (04:00 pm - 05:00 pm).
  • Lodging (rural or urban area) (05:00 pm - 06:00 pm)
  • Dinner (06: 00 pm - 07:00 pm)


DAY 2 (CHARCO AZUL)

  • Breakfast (07:00 am - 80:00 am)
  • Transfer to the waterfall in a 4x4 van (08:00 am - 09:00 am) Hiking and recreational bathing in the waterfall and waterfalls (10:00 am - 12:30 pm).
  • Lunch (12:30 pm - 01:30 pm).
  • Hiking and visit historical memory camp (01:30 pm - 03:30 pm) Return to plateaus and end of activities (03:30 pm - 05:00 pm).
