Discover an oasis of turquoise water amidst thick tropical vegetation and cool off in the waterfall that forms the fantastic natural pool known as Charco Azul. 

Charco Azul is a scenery surrounded by native vegetation that is perfectly preserved. It has a white sandy beach that adorns the waterfall and is ideal for a recreational swim to connect with nature.

In this tour you will also enjoy the Cascada Cataratas, a vigorous waterfall where you can appreciate the exuberant nature of the Meta department.

And to end the day, on a trail that was hidden by years of armed conflict, we will find the Historical Memory Camp. Here we will learn about the past of the region and the ways in which a new history is being rewritten in this community.

If we still have energy (and good physical condition) we will visit the amazing Sansa Canyon where we can observe the particularity of the rock formations belonging to the Guyana shield.

  • Breakfast and visitor registration ( 08:00 am 09:00 am )
  • Transfer to Charco Azul waterfall (09:00 am 10:00 am)
  • Hiking and recreational swim at Charco Azul and cataratas waterfalls ( 10:00 - 12:30 PM )
  • Lunch
  • Hiking and visit Historical Memory Camp (01:30 pm 03:30 pm)
  • Return to office in Mesetas and end of activities ( 03:30 pm 05:00pm)
