In the heart of Macedonia, this community project promises an immersive experience in Amazonian culture and ecosystems.

Just 53 km up the Amazon River, right on the border between Peru and Colombia, you'll find the Tikuna Macedonia Community—a perfect spot to connect with nature, the locals, and their culture. The plans include jungle hikes, hangouts with Tikuna elders, nighttime animal watching, visits to the chagra (a traditional garden), cultural dances, weaving workshops, artisanal piranha fishing, trips to Puerto Nariño, visits to a monkey and bird reserve, spotting pink dolphins, and swimming in various Amazonian waters.

Longer adventures even include hiking through flooded jungles deep in the forest, where you might just catch a glimpse of sloths and a 450-year-old primitive tree. And to top it all off, you can take a dip in the Amazon River!
