Cannua is located within nine hectares of protected forest. It was built by three friends guided by the principles of permaculture, as they were convinced that we can travel and connect with the local communities and ecosystems in a responsible way.

Its architectonic design with hexagonal spaces and floor to ceiling glass windows reveal a panoramic view of the impressive mountains in the heart of the Andes.

Just like its design is sustainable and friendly with the environment and local communities, its menu is a mix of creative and healthy that includes seasonal fruits and vegetables, many of them grow in its own organic gardens.

Cannua is a beautiful haven to rest body and mind. During your stay you can birdwatch more than 80 registered species, go hiking, enjoy a relaxing spa day or visit charming nearby towns.

Location and how to get there

Cannua is located in a rural zone in the Marinilla municipality (Antioquia, Colombia). We are 90 minutes away from the José María Córdova Airport (MDE) and 20 minutes away from Marinilla, a historical town founded in the XVII century, that stands in the highway connecting Medellín and Bogotá.

Transfer from the airport or Medellín to Cannúa is available at an extra cost.
