San Vicente del Caguán is a Municipality with more than 120 years of history, which frames different periods of the national conflict; armed groups and political history. It has 16,150 square km in which there are extensive plains, such as the Yarí savannas, natural and artificial forests, multiple species of insects, reptiles, amphibians and others. Within the fauna we find different species such as the Jaguar, anteaters and sloths, rodents such as the boruga and abundant species of birds that help the eco-systemic balance of our Amazon.
