The plan is seen as a spectacular route, surrounded by beautiful colorful landscapes and steep terrain as the protagonists. You will start from Honda soaking up the humid heat of the Magdalena valley, and of course, you will climb the longest mountain pass in the world: the Alto de Letras with its eternal 80 km ascent.
They will be 650 km and 18,400 meters of unevenness agreed in six carefully designed stages, escaping the congestion of the main roads and common routes, discovering that beautiful Colombia that is best seen from a bicycle, that smells of cane and tastes like coffee.

Itinerary

Day 1
Honda - Falán (100 Km)

The colonial city of Honda will be the starting point of this cycling adventure.
On the way you will visit the ruins of Armero, remembering that tragedy of the 85 in which the eruption of the Ruiz volcano buried this city. What better way to end the day than a beautiful 10 km climb at 6% on average towards the municipality of Falan, ideal to activate your body and enjoy the scenery.
Day 2
Honda - Alto de Letras (97 Km)

This is a special day, Alto de Letras is coming, the longest mountain pass in the world. This stage begins with a flat and warm corridor.
The Alto de Letras, with an APM coefficient of 623 units, 3,183 meters of accumulated elevation, 80.2 km of asphalt at 4.1% and treading its top at 3,600 meters above sea level, is a cathedral of world cycling, a strenuous day and unforgettable for any cyclist.
Day 3
Manizales - La Felisa (113 Km)

On day 3 the adventure will depart from Manizales, the city of open doors. At kilometer 10 you will face the first mountain difficulty; Cielito Lindo with 6.5 km at 7%.
At kilometer 40, there is another port for climbers in the background and for strategy, the excitement is guaranteed in 12 kilometers at 5.5% at the level of Alegrías. Then you will live a coffee journey and visit the municipality of Salamina, the birthplace of Colombian poets, writers and musicians, for which it is known as "the light city". The points return at kilometer 80 with a special category table in Peña Rica with 10 km at 7.7% average gradient and several sections that exceed two digits. The descent will take you to La Felisa, where you will quickly get on the car to enjoy a well-deserved pool and cold beers.
Day 4
Peñaliza - Jericó (118 Km)

At kilometer 10 the legs will start working on the climb to Salgar with 12.5 km at 4.4%.
Then you will descend the same road to Ciudad Bolívar, undoubtedly one of the most beautiful towns in the country.
On the way back you will pass through Alto del Salvador “one of the most scenic and beautiful ports in Colombia”.
Day 5
Jericó - Caldas (97 Km)

This day you will start with a long descent to overcome the first port of the day with 5.6 km at 6.2% where the municipality of Tarsus is located. Then you will go down to the banks of the Cauca river.
You will go up the hill towards Alto del Calvario and the day will be completed in the municipality of Amagá.
Day 6
Medellín - Guatapé (114 Km)

The day begins in El Alto del Escobero with its 10km at 10% on average. You will pass through the municipalities of Rionegro and Marinilla.
After skirting the beautiful Guatapé dam and spotting the largest granite monolith in Colombia, El Peñol, you will descend towards San Rafael to complete this incredible journey.
