Due to its geographical location, Jardín is a favorable place for birdwatching since it has a great variety of species. The tour starts at 5:00 am leaving for the Alto de Ventanas located 21km from the municipal head at an approximate height of 2,800 meters above sea level. There you will be able to find a great variety of species such as hummingbirds, tangaras, yellow-eared parrots, mountain toucans and, hopefully, you will also be able to see the magnificent quetzal.
In the afternoon you will visit the Rock Cock Lek or a nearby farm to see other species of lowland hummingbirds.
