San Luis is a beautiful municipality of recent foundation, since it was established in 1956, by the inhabitants of Trinidad, after it was burned during the time of bipartisan violence.

It is on the banks of the Pauto river and has a beautiful boardwalk; located two hours from Yopal. It offers several places where you can have indescribable experiences, such as birdwatching, native fauna, paddling in the curiara, horseback riding, enjoying the gastronomy, the musical rhythms of the plain and the local culture.

Hard-working, noble and brave people live in this municipality like Seudiel Gualteros who will guide you to his ranch on the banks of the Pauto River; a magical place, with archaeological interest, full of myths and legends told and sung by this great llanerazo.
